WHERE IS OUR PRODUCT MADE?

The BKS collection is made out of our studio in Northern New Mexico. We use family run casting houses on the East Coast of the USA, in the hearts of New York City's Diamond district and the Jewelry district of Rhode Island. We endeavour to use and source only materials, products and elements that are sustainable, made in places considerate to human rights, where freedom is a right, and a fair living wage has been paid. 

We use fair mined and recycled gold. 

All our diamonds are conflict free.

We upcycle vintage gemstones and source ethical gemstones.

We are happy to rework vintage pieces to repurpose them into more desirable wanderlusts.

ALLERGIES DISCLOSURE

If you have a nickel allergy we ask that you avoid White Gold and White Brass because of their respective alloy compositions that contain nickel.

  

RETURNS / REFUNDS

We understand that sometimes you can be unsatisfied. Upon receiving such order you have seven (7) days to request an RA number # and to return it to our studio. Please contact the studio for your RA number #.

Items should be unworn and in their original packaging, with the RA # clearly noted on the outside of the packaging. We kindly ask that returns are shipped with a tracking number that is communicated to us. We are not responsible for mislaid packages or reimbursing shipping on return items. 

Unfortunately we are unable to offer returns on earrings or jewelry that inserts into the body, bespoke orders and collection styles that have undergone deep personalisation. We endeavour to make your customer experience as wonderful as possible and at all opportunities no matter what are happy to help you.

We ship to all 50 USA states and worldwide to Canada, the UK, Europe, Australia, Asia using United States Postal Service or DHL Express. We are working on being truly worldwide. We offer COMPLIMENTARY EXPRESS SHIPPING on all orders over $500. All orders above $1000 will require a signature on delivery. If you would like your order to contain shipping insurance please let us know. 

We are not responsible for missing or stolen packages however will bend over backwards to find mislaid shipped orders, should this occur,

 

CUSTOMS TAXES 

International customers, your order may be subject to a customs tax when it ships to the country you are in. As a BKS customer it is your responsibility to pay any customs taxes on the shipment of your order if it is required. The amount is calculated according to the law applicable in the country where goods are sent.

RING SIZING GUIDE

We can size in 1/4 and 1/2 sizes and use US ring measurements. If placing an order internationally, let us know your size based on the units your country uses in checkout notes or by email and we will convert it to your US Ring Size.
Certain styles (such as our chunky band rings) we recommend for larger hands likewise thinner featherweight bands we recommend more strongly for smaller fingers or pinky rings. Hands are a product of your lifestyle. Fingers are slimmest at the beginning of the day and gradually swell throughout the day or when hot. In cold weather fingers will feel slimmer. In hot weather fingers will feel bigger.Fingers tend to be larger on your more dominant hand.
When measuring your finger ring size at your local jewelers, (often a complimentary service) you should use a 'Wide Band' Ring Sizer for our big rings and King Rings and a Slim Wedding Band Ring Sizer for our featherweight daintier rings and engagement ring styles.

If you are not familiar with your size and cannot make it to a local jewellers for assistance, we are happy to send you a complimentary ring sizer or necklace chain gauge. 

IS IT TRUE THAT I CAN SEND YOU A PICTURE OF MY HANDS AND THAT YOU CAN SIZE MY FINGERS FROM THAT?

Yes. Alternatively, send us a picture of your hands as a size reference. Please indicate the finger you want to wear your ring on and have your hand next to a sizable object we can recognize like a ruler, phone, quarter coin. (We have even had hands next to pets before. It helps!)

COULD YOU POSSIBLY RESIZE THE RING YOU MADE ME? / 
I NEED MY RING TO BE A TINY BIT BIGGER. BY THE END OF 
THE DAY MY FINGERS ARE SWOLLEN AND MY RING IS

A TOTALLY DIFFERENT SIZE.. HELP! 
Yes of course, we can easily re-size up or re-size down a ring that does not contain a gemstone. We offer all design requests without gemstones, one complimentary resize. Get in touch to let us know the size you want to go up or down to and to gain our studio address to send the item to us for adjusting. 

Resizes with gemstones will incur a nominal charge, depending on the sizing request, as the process will require laser soldering to cut and seal. 

Additional resizes after one resize are priced upon request and vary according to the size needed. 

I HAVE REALLY LARGE FINGERS, WHAT IS THE LARGEST SIZE YOU DO?
We are used to making tiny rings and giant rings. 
US Sizes 4 and below and US sizes 15, 16 and 17 and their in between sizes are all capable with us. Just let us know if you do not see your size.
